LEGAZPI CITY – A 17-year-old college student died when a fire gutted a laundry shop near his boarding house in this city on Wednesday, Jan. 8.
The Albay police said in a report that initial investigation revealed the residents heard a loud explosion and saw thick smoke from the establishment in Barangay Ilawod at 4:20 a.m.
Article continues after this advertisementThe report said that when the fire started, the victim was trapped inside the boarding house, located at the back portion of the shop.
